Window Sash Restoration~
~Project Completed for historic school house, c.1880 Stubenville, OH
  • Cataloging & removal of sashes, stabilization of building until completion.
  • Removal of glaze, glass panes, & paint.
  • Repair of degrading sash components through epoxy consolidation and recreation.
  • Reassembly of completed sash including replacement of broken panes.
  • Repointing and reglazing of glass panes.

Shutter, Column, & Balustrade Restoration~
Completed with A. Sevonty & J. Smith (Allegheny Restoration) for Historic Greek Revival Cottage-Morristown, OH
  • Total Removal of all coats of lead-based paint (80+ lbs!) from shutters and loose paint removal from all other components. Eco sensitive paint stripper and steambox used for paint removal.
  • Deconstruction of shutter components for complete sanding & epoxy repair, reassembly & repegging for paint prep.
  • Reassembly and epoxy repair of original columns with industrial grade resin.
  • Wood epoxy repair of handrails and splats.
